The Night Watchman is an original, still unproduced script by James Ellroy involving police corruption in the LAPD and set around the same time period as the O.J. Simpson verdict (circa-September 1995).
The last word was that Arnon Milchan, who produced the Oscar winning adaptation of L.A. Confidential fronted the money to keep the potential film under the aegis of Warner Brothers. (Updated 5/21/03)
